Warnung:
Kapillaren niemals auf Perso-
nen richten! Durch hohen Druck
können falsch montierte
Kapillaren aus dem Kapillaren-
halter herausfliegen und zum
Geschoss werden.
Verwendungszweck
1. Die Kapillaren sind zum ein-
maligen Gebrauch vorge-
sehen.
2. Die Kapillaren sind nur durch
qualifiziertes Personal anzu-
wenden.
3. Die Eppendorf TransferTips
(ES) dienen zum Trans-
ferieren und Injizieren von
Embryonalen Stammzellen
(ES) oder Zellen entspre-
chender Größe.
4. Die Eppendorf Piezo Drill
Tips dienen zum Transferie-
ren und Injizieren von Embry-
onalen Stammzellen (ES),
Mausspermien oder Zellen
entsprechender Größe.
Auspacken
1. Kontrollieren, ob die Folien-
verpackung beschädigt oder
geöffnet ist. In diesem Fall ist
eine Sterilität nicht mehr ge-
geben. Kapillare/Verpackung
ist nicht resterilisierbar!
2. Folienverpackung am obe-
ren Ende aufreißen und
Kapillaren-Safe vorsichtig
entnehmen.
Vorsicht:
Nicht in das Schutzrohr
greifen, da es sonst zu Verlet-
zungen oder Beschädigung
der Kapillare kommen kann!
3. Schutzrohr vorsichtig vom
Kapillaren-Safe abziehen.
4. Die Kapillare vorsichtig mit
Daumen und Zeigefinger am
nicht ausgezogenen hinteren
Teil aus dem Kapillaren-Safe
entnehmen.
5. Kapillare in den vorgesehe-
nen Kapillarenhalter des
Mikromanipulators einsetzen
und nach entsprechender
Bedienungsanleitung montie-
ren.
Sterile TransferTips® (ES) und/and Piezo Drill Tips
Warning:
Never point capillaries at
people! Due to high pressure
incorrectly mounted capillaries
may be expelled from the
capillary holder and become
missiles.
Use
1. Capillaries should be used
only once.
2. Capillaries should only be
used by qualified personnel.
3. Eppendorf TransferTips (ES)
are used for transferring and
injecting embryonic stem
cells (ES) or cells of a similar
size.
4. The Eppendorf Piezo Drill
Tips are used for transferring
and injecting embryonic stem
cells (ES), murine
spermatozoa or cells of a
similar size.
Unpacking
1. Check whether the foil
wrapping is damaged or
open. This could mean that
sterility is no longer
guaranteed. The capillary/
packaging cannot be
resterilized.
2. Tear open the foil wrapping
from the top end and carefully
remove the capillary safe.
Caution:
Do not touch the inside of the
protective tube, as this could
damage the capillary or
cause injuries.
3. Carefully remove the
protective tube from the
capillary safe.
4. Holding the rear part which
has not been pulled out
between thumb and fore-
finger, carefully remove the
capillary from the capillary
safe.
5. Insert the capillary into the
capillary holder of the
micromanipulator and mount
according to the instruction
manual.
